Blizzard Announcement May 19th
Blizzard recently said that they'd be announcing a new game at Blizzard Worldwide Invitational, an event taking place in Korea. There's a lot of speculation as to what this new game will be - an MMO of Diablo or Starcraft, Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2, or something entirely different. I've done some speculating on this "World of Starcraft" idea before, and now Wandering Goblin have published some reasoning to arrive at the tentative conclusion that the announcement will be a Starcraft MMO.
I'll be very interested to see what does get announced - I still think a Starcraft MMO would prey on their own subscribers, rather than increasing their revenue.
EDIT: Here's my list of 8 possible games that Blizzard could announce.
