The new Arrow series has started broadcasting. On the one hand, it's a clear successor to Smallville, and on the other, it's a lot more. Spoilers follow....

Marvel Going Online

Marvel, according to Yahoo News, are putting comics online. They're starting with old issues, and they're not free, but it's an interesting step nonethless. I don't have the interest level in old Marvel comics to pay that much for them....

Comic: Magician - Apprentice

Dabel Brothers Productions is bringing out a comic version of Raymond E. Feists's Magician. There's some preview art up at Newsarama - it looks rather manga-fied, but good nonetheless. This is one I'll definitely be acquiring in one form or...

French Comics

I spent a week in France in September, and I was fascinated by the comics. The first and primary thing is that they are everywhere - there's an entire street in Paris that is almost nothing but comics shops, and even the small town in the Alps we spent a few days in had one.
