Dragonlance, The Movie
Just when you thought it was safe to look around after the D&D movie.... it's Dragonlance on the big screen. Animated.
Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman are apprently both happy with the script, and Lucy Lawless (Xena, if you didn't know) is to voice Goldmoon. Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor in Smallville) will voice Tanis, and Jason Marsden (dunno, never heard of him) will voice Tasslehoff.

So, James Marsden was Cyclops in X-Men and Lois' new man in Superman Returns; but it's JASON Marsden in Dragonlance (whose credits are mostly voice acting, which is nice).
Also, James Marsters was offered a role for the upcoming Dresden Files Sci Fi series, which would have ROCKED. But he turned it down. Ah, well.

I think James Marsden is in the new Superman movie? I thought it said James Marsters for a moment, which would have been very, very odd.
I hadn't heard about this film before, though I did enjoy a couple of the early trilogies. But I have to say that I have no hopes whatsoever for this film given some of the *books* that Weis and Hickman (presumably) were happy with...
