Draenei, Draenai, Drenai, Deryni
There's clearly something hugely attractive about this particular name for a race. World of Warcraft have announced the new Alliance race will be the Draenei (who look far too cool for the Alliance, I have to say). David Gemmell wrote repetitively about the Drenai. And Katherine Kurtz wrote about the Deryni.
I know there are no original names, but that seems to be taking it a bit far...

I was just amused that their leader, Valen - er, Velen - was contacted by a Vorlon - er, whatever they called the sentient energy being of goodness - to be part of the army of light agsinst the darkness.
