Virtual Credit
According to an article on Makezine (a very cool site in its own right), the future of credit cards lies in virtual rewards. "... credit card companies and game makers will reward their customers who spend money in the real world using private label "rewards" credit cards. They will use gifts of virtual currency such as Blizzard's World of Warcraft gold and Second Life's Linden dollars."
I keep hearing about Second Life in all kinds of unexpected places; maybe I should give it a try. It'll be hard to organise that in between ordinary life, Starbound, D&D and WoW, though, especially now that my warlock has hit level 60, and is regularly going on raids, and assembling the Dreadmist set.
