Star Wars TV Series
Apparently, there are plans for a Star Wars TV Series, dealing with the life of Luke Skywalker up to the beginning of the original trilogy. Either this is going to rip continuity in Star Wars - already a dodgy area - to bits, or it's going to be the most boring TV series ever, because the whole reason for Luke being raised on Tatooine was that it's a mind-bogglingly dull backwater planet - and he lives in a mind-bogglingly dull area of it.

Star Wars: The Series: Episode 14: The Prom. Wherein Luke learns that the attractive classmate he's fancied via his school hologram linkup was actually a Wookie all along...
Still - look at Star Trek - when has continuity ever stood in the way of making a quick buck out of a franchise?

Well he did some typical teenagery-type things with Cammie and Biggs and stuff, so it'll most likely be Star Wars meets American Grafitti... which I can't say I'm looking forward to :(
