Having spent the weekend at P-Con III, I have returned loaded down with new recommendations (although I did keep my book-buying within reasonable limits). First up is Kicking The Sacred Cow, by James P. Hogan. I'm only getting started on the book itself, but a panel with the author did the obligatory "Hi, you're at a scifi con, and we're going to wedge nine billion new concepts into your head!" thing.

Second is Charlie Stross' The Family Trade, playing straight into my corner with an excellent, well-thought-out crossover plot. I'm going to be getting my hands on the rest of that series as soon as humanly possible. And he's got a book about MMORPGs coming up.
