Epic Fantasy
Someone should really write a book on running high-powered, epic fantasy campaigns. I'd buy it. Failing that, I'll help write the thing - it would get some of the thoughts in my head in order on the subject.
The main problem seems to be that running epic games lies in the heart, not in the head. I can run them with no trouble at all, I just sit down and let rip. It's the planning that kills me, the trying to think ahead. And if I was running only the epic campaign, I'd let the players go ahead, and more importantly, let the bad guys go ahead, and try to rip the universe apart every six months. Since I have a bunch of lesser campaigns that I'm currently running, and more that I'll want to run in the future, this makes that kind of thing difficult.
